PML-Q President and Chinese Ambassador discuss CPEC

LAHORE : Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that in every difficult time China has supported the people of Pakistan and Pakistan-China friendship has become an example for the world.

The PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and senior central leader and former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi hosted a luncheon reception for Chinese Ambassador Mr Jing Yao in Islamabad on Sunday.

Ch Shujaat Hussain said on the occasion that Pak-China friendship is a matter of pride; China has rendered great services for progress and prosperity of people of Pakistan, for that we are grateful to China.

Chinese Ambassador said that interest of people of Pakistan is very dear to China, people of both countries will benefit from fruits of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) whereas strategic relations between Pakistan and China are in the interest of the people of the region.

Luncheon reception was also attended by number of diplomats of various countries, including Holland, Turkey, Spain, India, Bahrain, Iran, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic and Nepal among others.

The PML-Q Central Secretary General Tariq Bashir Cheema, Kamil Ali Agha, Muhammad Basharat Raja, General (R) Ehsanul Haq, Shahid Iqbal, Ejaz Awan, Dr Khalid Ranjha, Gohar Ayub Khan, Ajmal Khan Wazir, Wajeehuzzaman, Mehboob Ullah Jan, Mian Imran Masood, Zafar Bakhtarvi and other Muslim League leaders and senior anchors were also present in the reception.
