Chinese Ambassador and National Security Adviser discuss Pakistan-China bilateral relations

The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing and National Security Adviser (NSA), Lt. Gen ® Nasser Janjua met to discuss Pakistan-China relations and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). NSA termed China the most reliable friend and partner of Pakistan. CPEC is a key to regional prosperity and sustainable peace in the region, said that Chinese envoy.

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr Yao Jing spoke to National Security Adviser (NSA) Lt. Gen (R) Nasser Khan Janjua on Monday. Matters regarding bilateral relationship between China and Pakistan, particularly China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were discussed.

NSA said that Pakistan and China shared remarkable and exceptional relationship. “We regard China as most reliable friend and partner,” he said. The envoy expressed his satisfaction over the mutual cooperation and said that Chinese Government is keen to enhance bilateral cooperation with Pakistan in multidimensional spheres.

They examined various aspects regarding China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

“China holds faith on building of economic corridor as conducive for promoting connectivity and shared prosperity of the entire region. CPEC is a key to regional prosperity and sustainable peace in the region,” the Envoy said.

Both sides expressed their support for constructive efforts required for attaining peace and regional stability.
