Ambassador Masood Khalid pays farewell call to Chinese FM

The outgoing Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Masood Khalid, held a meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister and State Councilor, Wang Yi, where the Chinese FM praised the role of Ambassador Khalid in the promotion of Pakistan-China relationship, with an emphasis on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Ambassador Khalid, in his remarks, thanked the Chinese leadership for providing every possible support during his time in China. Ambassador Masood Khalid served 6 years in China, and played a key role in the promotion of CPEC and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

During the meeting, Wang Yi praised Masood Khalid for his active role in strengthening Sino-Pak friendship.
In his remarks, Ambassador Khalid emphasized the singular honour of having represented Pakistan in China, a close friend, trusted partner and good neighbor.
The Ambassador conveyed his gratitude for the continued support Pakistan had received from the leadership, government and people of China.
