Chief Secretary Capt (retd) Fazeel Asghar visited Gwadar port city and termed it a ticket for provincial development. Chief Secretary visited Gwadar Port and China Business Center where Xhaba Zong, Chairman Overseas Port Holding Company apprised him. People of Gwadar and Makran Divison would see mega-development due to vast economic opportunities the coastal strip of Balochistan offered, remarked Asghar. Chief Secretary dubbed Gwadar as the epicentre of China's Belt and Road Initiative. Fazeel Asghar commented. Local community will witness a significant relief in the education and health sectors with the completion of on-going projects in Balochistan.

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Secretary Capt (retd) Fazeel Asghar paid his first visit to the port city of Gwadar and called it a gateway of the provincial development. Commissioner Makran Division Capt (retd) Muhammad Waseem welcomed the newly appointed Chief Secretary in the city. CS Fazeel Asghar visited Gwadar Port and China Business Centre where he was given a comprehensive briefing on development schemes by Chairman of Overseas Port Holding Company Xhaba Zong. "The coastal strip of Balochistan has vast economic opportunities and after completion of CPEC, local people in Gwadar and Makran Division would witness mega-development," the chief secretary said. Describing Gwadar as the centre of China's Belt and Road initiative, he added that the provincial government is making utmost efforts to clinch mega projects for Balochistan from the Chinese investment. The people of Gwadar will witness major relief, particularly in health and education sectors after the completion of on-going schemes, he affirmed.
