Punjab province starts roadshow 'Punjab-China Industrial Cooperation' in Tianjin City of China to attract investors

Islamabad, May 16: Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Pakistan's Punjab province started  a roadshow for "Punjab-China Industrial Cooperation" in Tianjin City  of China to attract Chinese investors and entrepreneurs in the Punjab province, a region having highest concentration of Chinese investment in Pakistan.

Earlier during a three-day roadshow in Beijing, Khayber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government signed 11 Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with the Chinese companies for completion of various development projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework in the province.

After the launch of CPEC, the trend of organizing roadshows in China  is getting boom because  it showcases  investment opportunities in the provinces and attracts economic collaboration from the Chinese state-owned as well as private enterprises in various  projects of provincial movements.

Under the One Belt One Road Initiative of Xi Jinping , Chinese investors are encouraged to invest in the power projects, mineral sector, industrial zones technology and cultural sectors to boost economic development in the Asian region.
A large delegation of Punjab Province is showing industrial projects seeking collaboration and cooperation  from Chinese investors from Tianjin city, China's  commercial hub famous IT, Hi-Technology  Industry and E-Commerce.
