Chief Minister Balochistan comments on the progress of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in the province. He suggested that work was being carried out in full swing, with plans to expand hospital in Gwadar to 150 beds, and also initiate a 300 MW power plant. Balochistan is under a transformative phase whereby project development under CPEC and other schemes are leading towards greater infrastructure connectivity, market access, and job creation for locals.
Addressing a news conference in Quetta on Wednesday afternoon, he said that several other projects have been signed during the recent visit in China.
He said that a 50 bed hospital in Gwadar will be expanded to the capacity of 150 beds.
Sardar Sanaullah Zehri said that construction work on 300 megawatt power plant in Gwadar will also be initiated soon.
