3,800 personnel to be allocated for CPEC projects in KP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has finalized the arrangements for a special security force for the projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The recruitment for this special security force will start from next month and will comprise of 3,800 personnel. The aim of the force will be to provide security to CPEC projects and also to the engineers and technicians working on the projects.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has finalized arrangements for establishment of a special force for protection of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Official sources told Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent that recruitment of personnel for the force will be started next month.

The force will comprise three thousand and eight hundred personnel.

Over one billion rupees have been allocated for this purpose.

The force will provide security to CPEC-related projects, engineers and technicians working on these projects.
