Speaking to the Chinese delegation of National Development and Reforms Commission, Cief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will further improve friendly ties between the two countries. He informed the audience that agreements have been signed with chinese companies for establishment of projects such as CPEC City, Circular Railway, and Peshawar model town.
Talking to a delegation of National Development and Reforms Commission of China in Peshawar on Sunday, he said CPEC will usher a new era of prosperity and development in the region.
The Chief Minister said the region is becoming hub of economic activities due to this mega project.
He said a number of Memorandum of Understanding have been signed with Chinese companies including CPEC City, Circular Railway and Peshawar model town.
Earlier, presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, Chief Minister said the provincial government is expecting ninety-six billion rupees Chinese investment in the province.
Pervez Khattak said work on generation of 225 megawatt electricity from gas at Hattar Industrial Estate is in progress.
